Applicability and Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Valet Living, LLC (together with their affiliates) and MultiPro Property Solutions, LLC (together with their affiliates, referred to as “Valet Living,” “MultiPro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information of our clients. Our clients (“you” or “your”) include property owners, managers, and residents of the communities we serve, as well as individuals who visit our websites, mobile apps, community portals (“Platforms”), apply for a job with us, or otherwise interact with us.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through:

  • Our websites, mobile apps, and community portals (“Platforms”)
  • Phone or offline interactions related to our products and services
  • Other online services or programs operated by or on behalf of us where this Privacy Policy is posted or linked (together with our Platforms, the “Services”)
  • Our website when you apply for a job with us

Our Use of Contractors

Both Valet Living and MultiPro utilize independent contractors (“Contractors”) to provide certain services (such as Torch Fitness classes and bulk hauling services).

  • This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Contractors obtain on behalf of Valet Living or MultiPro in connection with delivering the Services.
  • We are not responsible for, and this Privacy Policy does not cover, any services that you obtain directly from Contractors (“Other Services”), or any personal information you provide to Contractors in connection with such Other Services. For example: if you participate in a Torch Fitness group class coordinated through your property manager and provide personal information when signing up for the class, this Privacy Policy applies. If you contact an instructor directly for private instruction, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information shared for that private instruction.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to our Associates and Contractors. 

By using the website or providing your personal information to us, you consent to the use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any term in this Privacy Policy, you should not access and use the website or provide your personal information. 

Notice At Collection

Information We Collect

We collect the information listed below.

California law requires that we tell you if we share information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising. For each category below we have indicated if we do this. To modify your preferences read our Notice of Right to Opt-out of Sale/Sharing below).

  • Identifiers. We may collect name, postal address, telephone number, email address, business contact information, online identifiers (Facebook ID, Google ID, LinkedIn ID, Twitter ID, etc.), account name, and username or email address. 

  • Audio/Visual Information. We may collect audio, photographic, visual or similar data including photographs.

  • Communication Information. We collect the content of communications with us, including emails, chats, attachments, survey responses, audio messages, and text messages. 

  • Internet or Electronic Usage Information. We may collect data related to network and website interaction history, IP address, website cookie information, interaction with advertisements and browsing time, operating system, device type, browser, and browsing/search history.

 

  • Location Information. We collect location information if enabled through any mobile apps. We also may collect general region or area from which you access our Platforms. 

  • Professional and Employment Information. If you apply to work with us, we may collect job application details such as your education and employment history, resume, and references as well as information on any relevant certifications or licenses.

  • Inferences. We use information from the categories of personal information described above in order to create inferences about you based on feedback and surveys.

 

  • User Contributions / User-Generated Content. This includes forum posts, reviews, public/social media content users publish or transmit via your Platforms or social media pages. This also includes responses to surveys and feedback forms.

  • Additional Profile Information. This includes emergency contacts and other account profile information you provide (for example event registrations).

 

Business Purposes for Information Use

We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

Providing and Managing Services. We use Identifiers, Financial Information, Communication Information, Location Information, and User Contributions to deliver and manage the Services you request. This includes presenting our Platforms; providing you with information or products; facilitating and servicing transactions; and processing payments. We also use this information to allow you to participate in interactive features, handle returns, resolve billing issues, and fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

 

Account and Communication Management. We use Identifiers and Communication Information to help us effectively communicate with you regarding your account, as well as the products and services you have requested. We use this information to respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, manage and resolve disputes, and send important updates about your account or changes to our Services. Where permitted by law, we may contact you via telephone, email, text message, or online chat.

 

Marketing and Personalization. We may use Identifiers, Communication Information, Inferences, and Internet or Electronic Usage Information to keep you informed about our products, services, offers, promotions, and events that may interest you. We also provide information about relevant offerings from our business partners. To enhance your experience, we personalize the content you view and interact with on our Platforms, using analytics technologies to remember your preferences, tailor features to your individual interests, optimize search capabilities, and provide non-personalized contextual advertising.

Research, Development, and Quality Assurance. We may use all categories of personal information to evaluate and enhance our Platforms and offerings, develop new products or features, and perform internal research. We also use your information to identify and fix bugs or system errors to keep our Platforms performing efficiently.

Security and Fraud Prevention. We may use all categories of personal information to detect and respond to security incidents, as well as to guard against fraudulent or illegal activity.  It includes when we carry out fraud detection activities and monitor the integrity and security of our systems.

Legal, Regulatory, and Contractual Compliance. We use all categories of your personal information to fulfill legal and regulatory requirements, enforce our contractual rights, and carry out our obligations under these agreements. 

We use information for other purposes as permitted by law or as we may disclose to you.

Sensitive Information Collection and Use

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.

Methods of Collecting Information

We collect personal information in the following ways:

 

We collect information directly from you. We collect your information if you contact us or submit it to us. This includes when you create an account, place orders or service requests. It includes when you communicate with us via phone, email, text, or online forms. We collect information when you submit feedback, respond to surveys or provide other user contributions. We also collect information from you when you use our support tools (for example, chat) or when you make queries on our sites and platforms.

We collect information passively. We collect your information about users over time and across different websites. We may do this on our Platforms and in emails that we send to you. We also work with third parties that collect personal information this way. We may use several common tracking tools to collect information. Tracking tools include browser cookies and web beacons. We collect information from your interactions with emails (e.g. link clicks, open rates) and attached files. We also collect location information when you enable it on our apps or other services.

We collect information about you from others. For example, affiliates, property owners, managers, business partners and contractors may provide information about you to us. We may also collect information from social media platforms (if you interact, connect, or allow linkage between your social account and Platforms). We may also collect information from marketing/analytics providers, public databases, or others consistent with this Privacy Policy.

When We Disclose Information to Others

We disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

 

Affiliates. We may disclose your personal information to our affiliated brands and companies within the MultiPro or Valet Living corporate group. These disclosures enable us to operate our business efficiently, provide requested services, support administration, and fulfill contractual obligations across related entities. The types of information disclosed may include Identifiers, and Communication Information.

 

Property Owners and Managers. We may disclose information to property owners and managers of the residential communities we serve. We do this in order to administer services, coordinate resident requests, manage accounts, confirm service eligibility, and facilitate communication regarding community operations. Information disclosed can include Identifiers, Communication Information, and User Contributions.

 

Contractors and Service Providers. We engage contractors and third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as providing on-site services (e.g., fitness classes, hauling services, MultiPro services), processing payments, managing data, or managing promotions. We disclose the information required for these providers to perform their contractual services, which may include Identifiers and Location Information (among others as needed to perform services). By using our online chat functions, you understand and agree that your Communication Information may be monitored, recorded, used, and disclosed by us and our service providers.

 

Business Partners. Your information may be disclosed to our business partners for joint marketing initiatives or to present you with promotions or offers from us or our partners. This includes Identifiers, Inferences, and Internet or Electronic Usage Information. You may opt out of such disclosures for marketing purposes. (See below in “You Have Certain Choices”)

 

Advertisers, Analytics Providers, and Social Media Platforms. We may disclose certain personal information (like Identifiers and Internet or Electronic Usage Information) to advertising networks, analytics vendors, and social media platforms. We do this to understand audience demographics, deliver tailored content, and measure marketing effectiveness.

 

Other Users and Public Platforms. If you submit content for publication, such as reviews, posts, or other “User Contributions,” this information may be viewable by other users of our Platforms or the public. You control the information disclosed in this context, but such disclosures are outside the direct control of our privacy settings.

 

Successors to all or part of our business. If all or part of our business was sold, we may disclose all of your information as part of that transaction. If there is a merger or acquisition, we may also disclose your information. If there is a financing or bankruptcy, we may disclose all of your information.

 

Security and Fraud Prevention. For purposes of fraud detection, cybersecurity, and credit risk reduction, personal information may be disclosed to other companies and organizations. This disclosure supports investigations and initiatives designed to protect our business and our users.

 

Legal Compliance and Protection. We will disclose information we collect about you to respond to a court order or subpoena. We disclose information in response to a government agency or investigatory body request.

Additional information for residents of certain jurisdictions: Nevada, California (and states with similar laws) require that we tell you if we sell personal information with a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not do this. We also do not sell personal information of minors under the age of 16 for monetary or other valuable consideration. 

We Combine Information

We combine information we collect from you on the website with information we receive from you offline. We combine information that we have collected across other third-party sites. We combine information across devices, such as computers and mobile devices. We also combine information you provide with information we obtain from third parties.

You Have Certain Choices and Rights

Choices

You can opt out of certain marketing. To stop receiving our marketing emails please follow the instructions in any marketing email message you get from us. If you choose to stop receiving marketing emails you will continue to receive emails from us about your relationship with us that are allowed by law.

 

OUR COOKIE AND AD POLICY

Cookies and other Web Technologies. When you access our website, we (and third-party companies we work with) may collect and store certain information by using technologies such as server logs, cookies, web beacons, clear gifs, tags, e-tags, flash cookies, log files, pixels, code, Javascript packages, mobile advertising IDs, cross-device linking, and similar technologies (collectively “Cookies”). You can control cookies and tracking tools. Your browser may give you the ability to control cookies or other tracking tools. How you do so depends on the type of tool. Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies. If you block cookies, certain features on our Platform may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop. Additionally, the Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising provides consumers with the ability to manage certain choices online here and provides a tool for managing mobile choices here.

Our Do Not Track Policy: Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. We do not currently respond to those signals.

Notice of Right to Opt-out of Sharing: You can opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the bottom banner of our website and following the instructions there. You can also set-up your browser as we describe in this section. Some browsers or browser extensions also allow you to tell websites not to share your information for targeted advertising through the “global privacy control” signal. We will respond to this signal in a frictionless manner. If you configure this setting on your browser, certain features on our site may not work and you will receive less targeted advertising. Options you make are browser and device specific.

 

Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits California residents who are users of our products or Services to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident, you may ask us to refrain from disclosing your Personal Information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Specific Rights in Certain Jurisdictions

If you are a consumer who lives in California or jurisdictions with similar laws, you may have additional rights. Those rights depend on our relationship with you and have certain limitations that are subject to change. This might include if a legal exception applies. If that is the case, we will not be able to process your request.

The rights include the following and may be offered based on your location:

For those in California, you also have the right to find out where your information was collected from and how it is being used by us. This includes access to algorithms where such algorithms were used to make a legally significant decision about you or information that was used for legally significant profiling decisions.

  3. Deletion: to have us delete information we collected from you.
  4. Correction: asking us to fix your information. Registered users of our Platforms can also review and change information in the account profile page.
  5. Third Parties: you can request a list of the specific third parties to whom we have disclosed your information (MN, OR, CT), if applicable.

 

Nevada residents: you may also opt out of the future sale of your information to a third party so that they may license or sell that information by emailing us as noted at the end of this Policy.

How it Works

We will not discriminate or retaliate against you because you exercised your rights.

Authorized agents

If you are submitting a request on behalf of an eligible resident, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity. This may include providing proof that you are registered with the Secretary of State to act on someone’s behalf or proof of being a power of attorney (POA).

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable security measures as required by relevant law. The Internet is not 100% secure. We cannot promise that your use of our Platforms and Services will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet. This includes not sharing your passwords.

We Store Information in the United States

Information we collect is stored in the United States. This site is intended for people who are in the United States. If you live outside of the United States and choose to use this site, you understand that it is at your own risk. If you live outside of the US, you understand and agree that we may transfer your information to the US. Our sites and businesses are subject to US laws, which may not afford the same level of protection as those in your country. By submitting your information, you agree to the processing of it in the US.

Third-Party Sites and Links

If you click on a link to a third-party site, you will be taken to websites we do not control. This includes our pages on social media sites. This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of these websites. Read the privacy policy of other websites carefully. We are not responsible for these third-party practices.

Children’s Privacy

Our Platforms are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information online from children under 13 on our websites or apps except as described here.
