All members of your Valet Living Home team are required to wash their uniforms daily and wear clean uniforms when arriving at your home. We are reminding our associates regularly about washing their hands often for the CDC-recommended 20 seconds. Also, we will be requiring that our associates participate in a “three-step health check” with their managers each day prior to beginning their shift to monitor any symptoms or potential exposures. This health check comprises of three questions:
- Do you have a fever, or have you in the last 24 hours?
- Are you experiencing a cough or having difficulty breathing?
- To your knowledge, have you been exposed to anyone with COVID-19?
If the answer to any of the criteria above is “yes,” our associate will be asked to seek medical attention promptly and to remain at home for the recommended time from the CDC and health professionals.
We will continue to monitor this developing situation closely, and we are working with your community management teams to allow as little disruption to your Valet Living Home amenity services as possible while keeping our primary focus on keeping you, our valued residents, and our associates safe.
